Northridge is located in the heart of the San Fernando Valley. The city is known for its great university Cal State University Northridge or CSUN as locals call it. Although several students live around the campus, Northridge is not considered a “college town”. While there are many college students that live around, CSUN is known as a commuter school.

Northridge is located northwest of Los Angeles. It is between the cities of Porter Ranch, Granada Hills and Reseda. Northridge is a combination of urban living with access to the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside, including Chatsworth Reservoir and Lake Balboa. The Getty Center, Universal Studios, and many more attractions are close as well.
